Thanks in part to the generous support of guests and donors of the 2007 American Girl Fashion Show®Snug Harbor Cultural Center and Botanical Garden became the field trip destination for summer campers from Long Island to New York City’s five boroughs and New Jersey.
Over 850 young campers explored the gardens, learned about different architectural styles and participated in creative activities. The Education Department is encouraged by the success of the summer program and is planning more exciting offerings in 2009.
