Hours of Operation

The grounds are open from dawn to dusk.
Main Hall Building C, The Newhouse Center for Contemporary Art, The Gift Shop, The NY Chinese Scholar's Garden, and The Connie Gretz Secret Garden are open Tuesday -Sunday 10am-4pm

Admission Rates

Site maps with self guided tour information are available at Main Hall Building C and the Gift Shop. Tours with a dedicated guide are available for an additional $4 per person (25 person maximum.) Additional guides are retained for groups exceeding 25 people.

Guided tours of the art galleries are available by reservation only for groups of 15 or more.

Directions

Mass Transit
Take subway to lower Manhattan, 1 to South Ferry, 4/5 to Bowling Green or R/W to White Hall. Exit and walk south to blue neon Staten Island terminal to take FREE ferry. After landing in Staten Island take the S40 bus at Gate D to travel along Richmond Terrace, less than a 10-minute ride. Let the bus driver know that you want to get off at Snug Harbor.
