Snug Harbor Cultural Center & Botanical Garden offers many diverse programs and attractions. There is truly something for everyone on its beautiful 83-acre campus and within its 26 historic buildings. Snug Harbor hosts 14 distinctive gardens, a two-acre urban farm and 10 acres of restored wetlands. A gift to Snug Harbor is a wonderful tribute for any occasion.

ADOPT A LAMPPOST: WINTER 2023
You and your family can show your support of Snug Harbor by adopting an historic lamppost on campus! Learn more and give here.
Deck the grounds with comfort and joy! Your donation of $150 will decorate a lamppost on campus with a festive wreath and a personalized plaque with your very own custom message (100 characters or fewer). You’ll also receive a one-year family membership to Snug Harbor.
The sooner you adopt your lamppost, the earlier your wreath will be installed for you and your loved ones to enjoy! Payment must be received by Wed, December 6, 2023. Wreaths will be on display through January 12, 2024.
ADOPT A NEW BENCH: $5,000
Your gift will be recognized with a plaque on a newly installed bench. Snug Harbor will work with you to determine a location for the bench. You and your designated honoree (if applicable) will be informed of its location once assigned.
ADOPT A TREE: $2,500
Your gift will be recognized with a plaque for the natural life of the assigned tree. Snug Harbor will work with you to identify a suitable, healthy tree. You and your designated honoree (if applicable) will be informed of the location of the tree.
ADOPT AN EXISTING BENCH OR A SEAT IN THE MUSIC HALL: $1,000
Your gift will be recognized with a plaque on an existing bench on the Snug Harbor campus, or on the seat of Snug Harbor’s historic Music Hall, the second oldest music hall in New York City. Snug Harbor will work with you to identify a preferred bench.
ADOPT A FLOWERING SHRUB: $500
Your gift will be recognized with an individual plaque for the life of the flowering shrub. Snug Harbor will work with you to choose a plant that enhances our botanical gardens, such as a peony or rose bush.
