Founded in 1881, the Staten Island Museum, New York City’s only general interest museum, engages visitors with interdisciplinary exhibitions and educational programs that explore the dynamic connections between natural science, art and history based on its diverse collections.

The mission of the Staten Island Children’s Museum is to nurture the creativity and curiosity natural to all children, to recognize and celebrate different learning styles, and to demonstrate vividly that learning can be exciting and fun.

The Staten Island Children’s Museum remains closed to help slow and stall the spread of the Coronavirus. The Noble Maritime Collection: Building D
The mission of the Noble Maritime Collection is to preserve and interpret the art, writings, and historical maritime artifacts of the distinguished marine artist, John A. Noble (1913-83) and to continue his legacy of celebrating the people and traditions of the working waterfront of New York Harbor in its collections, exhibitions, and programs.
ADMISSION: By donation; Members and children under 10 admitted free.

Art Lab: Building H (2nd Floor)
Art Lab’s purpose is to offer Staten Island the best possible and most professional independent school of fine and applied art, and to bring knowledge and appreciation of artistic excellence to the metropolitan community through regular classes, exhibitions, demonstrations, workshops, and lectures.

Children’s Harbor Montessori School: Building G (3rd Floor)
Children’s Harbor Montessori School is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. It is chartered as an educational corporation by the NYS Board of Regents, and licensed by the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene’s Bureau for Child Care. It is also an Associate Member School with the American Montessori Society (AMS).
Staten Island Conservatory of Music: Building F (1st Floor)
The Staten Island Conservatory of Music offers high quality music education to all Staten Island residents, regardless of their age or origin. The Conservatory follows the model of the finest European Conservatories of Music. Our experience in music education is high and so is our expectation.
