2021 Vigil to Honor Lives Lost to Anti-Asian Violence

March 30, 2021 @ 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Join us for a vigil to honor the eight people whose lives were senselessly taken from the Asian community in the Atlanta spas on March 16, 2021.

This is a space to grieve the lives lost, find strength in community, and to come together in solidarity against the rise in anti-Asian violence and racism in all forms. You are welcome to bring messages to share and flowers to present as we honor the victims.

WHEN: Tuesday, March 30, 2021 | 6:00 PM
WHERE: South Meadow (Map here: snug-harbor.org/visit/directions)
Snug Harbor Cultural Center & Botanical Garden
1000 Richmond Terrace, Staten Island, NY 10301

Donations to Snug Harbor are welcome, but not required in order to participate in vigil

Social distancing will be practiced. Masks are mandatory and regular use of hand sanitizer is strongly encouraged. PPE and sanitizer will be provided for those that need it.

Additional support for this event is provided in part by the Friends of the New York Chinese Scholar’s Garden.
