Design and build your own lantern in the style of the Lunar New Year! The workshop will start by learning the ancient Chinese art form of calligraphy. This type of beautiful writing can be used on your lantern design. You’ll learn why lanterns play such an important role in Chinese celebrations. Working with basic materials, you will design and build a lantern from scratch, to light up your holiday season. Participants in this workshop must be ages 6+.
