Manhattan by Sail’s Clipper City at the Battery was built from plans which had been borrowed from the Smithsonian Institution. The newly restored Clipper City with a length of 158 feet and a height topping out at 120 feet can comfortably sail with 149 people, currently the most of any passenger sailboat in the United States! With its sweeping deck, full bar, and a diverse sail plan, this massive schooner along with its attentive crew sails daily from Battery Park, providing guests with a unique way of experiencing the sites of Manhattan from the waterfront.
