The dome is a derivative of the Buckminster Fuller Dome, developed by American engineer, architect and futurist R. Buckminster Fuller (1895-1983), which influenced environmental-thinking, eco-housing and larger planetary issues. The dome is a playful gesture to Snug Harbor’s future and a fun new way to improve visitor experiences.   Adults, children, and artists of all experience levels welcome!
