Newhouse Center Volunteer Day and Season Starter

Volunteer at the Newhouse Center! We need YOUR help to paint, spackle, remove vinyl, and rejuvenate the gallery walls in preparation for our upcoming season. Working with us will be fun (pizza lunch included!) and we’ll provide all the supplies and materials you’ll need. Plus, you’ll learn about the Newhouse Center from behind the scenes and be a key player in revitalizing this historical space.

WHEN: March 18 | 10:00 AM- 2:00 PM
WHERE: Meet at the Visitor Info Booth on Chapel Road and Gazebo Road at Snug Harbor (View site map here)
ADMISSION: FREE | Registration requested here

Snug Harbor’s Newhouse Center for Contemporary Art features contemporary art ranging from paintings and sculpture installations to digital media.  Our galleries display exciting, experimental art from across the world.  The Newhouse Center is the centerpiece of the five majestic Greek-Revival buildings on our front lawn, the oldest building on campus and a rare NYC interior landmark.
