The Noble Maritime Collection will welcome award-winning children’s book author and illustrator Trinka Hakes Noble for storytelling and signing of her book The Legend of Sea Glass on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at 2 PM.

Illustrated by Doris Ettlinger, The Legend of Sea Glass is a colorful picture book about mermaids, sailors, and mysteries of the sea, and presents an original tale that attributes mythical origins to colorful sea glass.

The legend imagines the role mermaids played in saving the lives of sailors who braved the dangerous seas.

The event is free and appropriate for the whole family.  Books will be available to purchase.
