POSTPONED: #SeenInSuzhou Photography Workshop in the NYCSG

***This event will be postponed until further notice.  Learn more here. We apologize for the inconvenience.***

The city of Suzhou boasts UNESCO-designated classical gardens, centuries-old art forms, and traditional Chinese architecture dating back more than 2,500 years. Twenty years ago, Suzhou-based artisans designed and constructed the New York Chinese Scholar’s Garden at Snug Harbor, which showcases the delicate balance between man and nature.

Our photographer will guide you to capture the perfect shots of the scholar’s garden while you learn more about Suzhou and experience its unique culture. Participants will also build and launch Kongming lanterns. This event is rain or shine. Support for this event is provided by Suzhou Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism.
