While insects are the most common arthropods on land, their cousins, the crustacean, take that title in the ocean. From lobsters to krill, this group is found throughout aquatic environments. Participants will observe the behavior of live crabs, learn about the life cycle of brine shrimp, dissect a crayfish, and observe microscopic crustaceans in pond water. Registration recommended. To register visit the Event page at StatenIslandMuseum.org. Supported in part by Richmond County Savings Foundation.
