The Staten Island Peace & Unity Festival is a concert series sponsored by community organizers The Waterteam, Uncle Chase Entertainment, Wakeem Entertainment, and 3J’s Creation Entertainment.

The aim of the outdoor festival is to bring together people from all sectors of our city after the year-long pandemic. As summer approaches and New Yorkers begin to emerge from isolation, the festival’s organizers hope to foster an environment where peace and nonviolence are encouraged. In partnership with community leaders, the organizers and performers will encourage unity in the hopes that the borough –and the city overall –will bounce back stronger than ever. The two-day concert series features Saturday performances by Ashanti, Ja Rule, Method Man, Redman, Ghostface Killah, Inspectah Deck, Cappadonna, DJ Funkflex from Hot 97. Sunday’s performance by Lil Durka, NYY B DJ Self from 105.1 and more.
***On July 10 and 11, 2021, access to Snug Harbor will be limited and managed by NYPD. The South Gate at Henderson Avenue will be closed and locked on July 10 and 11. While we will remain open to the general public, we recommend using public transportation, or parking in legal/available street parking in the area.***
