Staten Island Theater Project presents: HΔRRY

August 27, 2022 @ 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM

This reading, presented at Snug Harbor’s Shinbone Alley is the workshop presentation of the second phase of HΔRRY. In this play, set in hood-near-you USA, we meet a weed-smoking, club-hopping first-born prince, Harry. Harry is estranged from his father, an embattled king of his city, and he struggles with his self-image and birthright. We follow this young prince as he’s dragged into his dad’s murderous conflicts, and attempts to come to terms with who he is and his place in this harsh, chaotic, war-ridden world. This play, filled with a cast of vivid characters and an original West coast influenced hip-hop score, paints the epic saga of a prince, not yet ready to face his greatness, thrust into it.
