SU-CASA Exhibition & Closing Reception

June 27, 2018 @ 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM

Thanks to a generous grant from Councilmember Joseph Borelli and the NYC Department of Cultural Affairs, we are excited to celebrate our work with the residents of Eger Lutheran Homes and Services. Eger residents have been enjoying their time making art and creative movement with Snug Harbor Educators. On June 27, Eger is hosting an art exhibition at their facilities on 140 Meisner Avenue from 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM to share their artwork with friends, faculty, and family. Please join us to see all the wonderful art they’ve made.

The fourteen-week SU-CASA program will culminate in an exhibit and demonstration at Eger. The curation is a group undertaking with Pauline Velez-Romano (teaching visual artist), Christina Zazula (adaptive education specialist) and Alyssa Rapp (teaching dance artist). Participating Eger residents will demonstrate the techniques they learned through free activities open to the public at the exhibition opening.
