Ring in the solstice as we use the gifts of the earth to cultivate balance and wellbeing. We’ll begin by creating natural dye baths to rejuvenate fabric scraps and items from home. Bring fabric and food scraps like avocado rinds, onion skins, berries, and greens to create the dye. As our threads transform, mindful movement in our teaching garden will precede mandala-making. Participants will create a pressed flower artwork. We will close our session by revealing our transformed textiles. Let’s bask in the high growing season and make vibrant creations with a low environmental impact.’
