Truth on Display is a group show which contemplates issues of identity and representation in both public and private spaces. Guest curator Eric Mapp, along with a talented collective of artists from Staten Island, are using their artistry to take a closer look at their individual truths.
On one side of the Commons Galleries, the work explores personal experiences of black, male identity. On the other side, female artists explore concepts of gender and power. The pieces in Truth on Display push creative boundaries and encourage dialogue.
Featuring artwork by Jodi Da Real, Erika Lee, Eric Mapp, BE-I Prince, Taiwan Prince, and Debbie Roxx
