SATURN: A Revelation – open studio live broadcast with J. Bouey and the Midheaven Network

On Sunday, February 12, our current artists in residence, J. Bouey with George Del Barrio, will share SATURN: A Revelation.

This performance installation in process is described as “otherworldly and explor[ing] the extremes of light and dark to invite us to consider one question: what kind of ancestor will you be to our descendants that will inherit this Earth?

You can tune in to the live-broadcast of the open studio throughout the day between 10 AM – 5 PM right here:

What would humanity be responsible for after we’ve abolished all systems of oppression? This is the guiding question for J. Bouey and George Del Barrio while in residence creating SATURN: A Revelation, a hologram-like dance performance from a distant future at the precipice of abolishing all systemic oppression. They have set up live performance camera obscuras in the four gallery spaces in Building G that create hologram-like images that are unlike anything you’ve ever seen.
