SI Community Alliance presents: 4th Annual Juneteenth Freedom Festival

The 4th Annual Juneteenth Freedom Festival, presented by the Staten Island Community Alliance, is a day filled with celebration, music, food, and community. Commemorate Juneteenth, a significant moment in American history, with friends and family to enjoy live performances, delicious food, merchandise vendors, and interactive activities for all ages.

Children and families can enjoy free admission to the SI Museum and SI Children’s Museum for family activities. Festivities include Juneteenth programming with libation, candle lighting, step shows featuring Delta Sigma Theta Sorority SI Inc., Alpha Beta Pi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., spoken word,  children’s dance groups, and more. The event will be broadcast with a live video feed on a Jumbrotron LED screen with live entertainment for everyone to see from anywhere on the field.

Let’s celebrate freedom and unity in a vibrant and inclusive atmosphere. Don’t miss out on this special event!

15th Annual Polish Festival

The Polish Festival is an undertaking of the Polish-American community of Saint Stanislaus Kostka to acquaint the Staten Island community with Polish culture, music, traditions, arts, and crafts. The festival features live performances by singers and dance groups representing traditional culture. To provide our guests with a taste of Poland, traditional cuisine is served throughout the day including kielbasa, pierogi, golabki (stuffed cabbage), baked goods, and Polish beer.  Our younger participants will love activities such as face painting and bounce houses.
