Visual Arts Studio Collective

The Snug Harbor Visual Arts Studio Collective provides year‑round workspace to a cohort of painters, sculptors, photographers, installation artists, printmakers, and interdisciplinary visual creators. These studios offer accessible, subsidized space that allows artists to develop ambitious bodies of work over time.

Collective members contribute to the cultural vibrancy of Snug Harbor through open studio events, exhibitions, community engagement, and ongoing creative exchange. Their presence forms the creative foundation of our campus—energizing Snug Harbor with daily artistic activity and long‑term commitment to practice. These long-term studio spaces are in high demand and new members are selected via random lottery from a waiting list of applicants when an opening becomes available.
