Outdoor Explorers
Family Programs
Snug Harbor’s Outdoor Explorers youth programs during midwinter, spring, and summer school breaks foster a love for the outdoors, teach children about the natural world, and familiarize them with the daily workings of a botanical garden and small farm.
Our programs prioritize slow growth, interpersonal connection in a device-free environment, and focus on environmental education integrated with artistic expression. We will share what is possible when exploring our wetlands, woodlands, gardens, and farmland.
Sessions provide age-appropriate curriculum for Upper Elementary students (3rd – 5th grades) and Middle School students (6th – 8th grades), with after-care options and discounts for registering multiple children and/or multiple weeks.
