Snug Harbor is the proud steward of 28 historical buildings dating from 1833. We are one of the largest adaptive reuse sites in the country, including the finest collection of original Greek Revival buildings. Six structures were included in the first 40 landmark designations in the United States, issued by the New York City Landmark Preservation Commission. We are a National Historic District. Come learn the stories behind Sailors’ Snug Harbor’s construction and the people responsible for its design, and explore the architecture that put Snug Harbor on the map of irreplaceable architectural collections. Explore Snug Harbor’s master plan for the future and share your vision for the future of Snug Harbor. Wear comfortable walking shoes and dress for the weather. The event is rain or shine.
