Celebrate soccer at Snug Harbor!

Snug Harbor will host the World Cup Bronze Final Watch Party on Saturday, July 18, inviting the community to come together for an afternoon of food, fun, and international soccer. Bring the whole family and enjoy a relaxed picnic in the South Meadow beginning at 2:00 p.m., with open green space perfect for gathering, playing, and settling in before kickoff. Plus, Staten Island Soccer Stars will be offering free soccer clinics for kids ages 1–12 from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. 

The match will be screened live on a large outdoor display. Food and beverages will be available for purchase from a selection of local food trucks, offering a variety of options for all ages and tastes. 

Guests are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs, arrive early to secure a good spot, and enjoy the festive atmosphere with pre-game music by AURA and shopping at Cottage Row Curiosities featuring over 30 artisan vendors, all leading up to the big game starting at 5:00pm. Free registration is required.

The day includes:

  • Giant LED Screen & Sound System
  • Free Soccer Clinics for Kids
  • Pre-Game music by AURA
  • Food Truck Court with cuisines from around the globe
  • Cottage Row Curiosities vendor market from 12:00pm – 5:00pm on Cottage Row

Rally your team and catch the excitement of the World Cup Quarterfinals at family-friendly watch parties on July 9, 10, and 11! Enjoy the games along with free snacks, face painting, art activities, and a scavenger hunt in a cool, air-conditioned space. Space is limited—more details available here. 

Staten Island Children’s Museum
Offers the following free family programming

  • July 18 – Never Stop Moving 365: Introduction to Soccer 11:00am – 11:45am
  • July 19 – Soccer Stars Clinic 11:00am – 11:45am.

These programs are designed to give families an engaging way to participate in the excitement of the World Cup before the matches, while providing children with active, creative experiences during the screenings. Visit the Children’s Museum website for more information.
