Hours and Admission

Snug Harbor Cultural Center & Botanical Garden’s main outdoor grounds and gardens are free of charge to the public, open 7 days a week from dawn to dusk, and do not require advance registration or ticketing.

Two of our attractions – the Newhouse Center for Contemporary Art, the New York Chinese Scholar’s Garden require admission fees and have different hours of operation.

Snug Harbor offers a variety of public events for all ages and interests. All events are rain or shine unless otherwise indicated. Snug Harbor has a no-refund policy on all event tickets.

Our campus partner organizations are managed separately and have their own individual operating hours.  Learn about hours and admission for the Staten Island Museum, the Staten Island Children’s Museum, and the Noble Maritime Collection here.
