Pollinator Garden
Public Gardens
A garden that helps nature thrive
Snug Harbor’s Pollinator Garden is a vibrant, living habitat designed to attract and support the essential creatures that keep our ecosystems blooming. Bees, butterflies, moths, beetles, birds, and even bats all play a vital role in carrying pollen from flower to flower—helping plants reproduce and ensuring the health of gardens, wildlife, and our food systems.
This special garden is dedicated to Alice Diamond, a visionary community leader whose efforts in the 1970s helped transform Snug Harbor into the cultural destination it is today. Her legacy continues to flourish here, where every plant is chosen to nourish pollinators and create a thriving, beautiful space for visitors and wildlife alike.
Stroll through the garden, watch pollinators at work, and discover how small creatures make a big impact on the world around us.
