Environmental Education
With generous support from ConEdison, the ConEdison EcoStewards program underwrites four annual paid part-time staff positions for emerging adults based in the North Shore of Staten Island, focused on environmental stewardship and peer leadership. Participants are recruited from the Summer Youth Employment Program. ConEdison EcoStewards receive extensive training in hard and soft skills, and assist in Snug Harbor’s restoration and mitigation efforts of our natural habitats.
